Speedweeks Concludes in 54th DIRTcar Nationals
(February 12, 2025) Tonight's program at Volusia Speedway Park featured a trio of 20-lap main events, as the 61-car Super Late Model field was split into thirds. Brenden Smith knocked down the fifteenth fastest lap in his group during DIRTcar Racing qualifying, but got up on the wheel in his $5,000 to win A-Main. (February 11, 2025) After skipping last night's opener of 'DIRTcar Nationals' week at Volusia Speedway Park, the Brenden Smith Motorsports team was back in action tonight at the Barberville, Florida speedplant to vie for the $7,000 paycheck with the DIRTcar Racing tour. Brenden Smith stopped the clock third quickest in his group during qualifying before nabbing the third and final transfer spot through his heat race. Unfortunately, the Dade City, Florida youngster was an early retiree in the 25-lap contest and was ultimately paid for a twenty-third place performance.

(February 8, 2025) The #17ss team entered the fifth and final night of the 'WinterNationals' this evening at Ocala Speedway and Brenden Smith gunned for the $25,000 first place prize money. Brenden stopped the clock eighth quickest in Group A during qualifying and later grabbed the third transfer spot through his stacked heat race. (February 7, 2025) At Ocala Speedway tonight, the penultimate event of the 'WinterNationals' was held at the unique, egg-shaped venue and the cars and stars racing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competed for a $12,000 windfall. Brenden Smith posted the eleventh quickest lap in Group A before advancing to fifth in his stacked heat race. Brenden was then running in a coveted transfer spot in his B-Main when a flat tire relegated him to a seventh place finish. Unfortunately, the Dade City, Florida ace was unable to make the start in the 50-lapper that was won by Ricky Thornton, Jr.

(February 6, 2025) The third night of the 'WinterNationals' took center stage in the Dirt Late Model world earlier this evening and a $10,000 payday was on the line at Ocala Speedway in Ocala, Florida. Brenden Smith knocked down the eighteenth fastest lap in Group A during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying before running seventh in his heat race and eleventh in his B-Main. After utilizing an emergency provisional, Brenden wound up twenty-seventh in the final rundown of the 40-lap headliner.

(February 5, 2025) The second round of the 'WinterNationals' took place earlier this evening at Ocala Speedway and another $7,000 winner's check was up for grabs. Brenden Smith qualified ninth fastest in Group B during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series time trials before placing sixth in his heat race and second in his B-Main. For the second straight evening, Brenden ultimately brought home a seventeenth place effort after thirty circuits in the feature.

(February 4, 2025) Another week of Speedweeks action kicked off tonight at Ocala Speedway in Ocala, Florida. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over the 'WinterNationals' lid lifter and 38 competitors were on hand to vie for the $7,000 top prize. Brenden Smith laid down the sixth quickest lap in Group B during the qualifying session prior to running fifth in his heat race and third in his B-Main. At the end of 30 green flag circuits around the egg-shaped venue, Brenden found himself credited with a seventeenth place A-Main performance.

(January 31, 2025) A $12,000 top prize was on the line earlier this evening in another Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series showdown at All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Florida. Brenden Smith suffered mechanical woes early in the evening and did not record an official time during qualifying. After finishing tenth in both his heat race and his B-Main, Brenden was forced to watch the attrition-filled feature that was won again by Ricky Thornton, Jr.

(January 30, 2025) The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series schedule fired back up tonight with a $10,000 to win event that kicked off a three-race weekend at All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Florida. Brenden Smith went fifteenth quickest in Group A during the qualifying session before running eighth in his heat race and seventh in his B-Main. Unfortunately, the Dade City, Florida ace was unable to make the start in the 40-lapper that was won by Ricky Thornton, Jr.

Speedweeks Continues in Sunshine Nationals at VSP
(January 25, 2025) The three-day 'Sunshine Nationals' wrapped up tonight at Volusia Speedway Park and a $20,000 winner's check was on the line. With 57 Super Late Model entrants once again in the pit area, Brenden Smith started off his evening by laying down the nineteenth quickest time in Group A during World of Outlaws qualifying. Brenden then placed ninth in his heat race and later chose not to start his consolation event. (January 24, 2025) After yesterday's rain-out, the annual running of the 'Sunshine Nationals' officially got underway tonight at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. A total of 57 World of Outlaws Late Model Series competitors converged on the Daytona Beach-area speedplant to do battle for the $12,000 first place prize. Brenden Smith went fifteenth fastest in Group B during the qualifying session before nabbing the third transfer spot through his loaded heat race. At the end of 35 green flag laps in the feature, Brenden was paid for a seventeenth place showing.

(January 23, 2025) With Winter Storm Enzo producing hazardous driving conditions and road closures, along with heavy rain and cold temperatures impacting the Barberville, Florida-area, World of Outlaws Late Model Series and Volusia Speedway Park officials have canceled tonight's $12,000 to win 'Sunshine Nationals' opener.

(January 18, 2025) With the forecast for rain continuing throughout the evening hours, tonight's $25,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event at Golden Isles Speedway has been canceled. Sunday’s Super Bowl of Racing finale, which will shell out a $10,000 top prize, is still on as scheduled.

(January 17, 2025) The 2025 campaign for the Brenden Smith Motorsports team got underway earlier this evening with the Super Bowl of Racing lid lifter at Golden Isles Speedway near Brunswick, Georgia. A total of 44 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competitors converged in the Peach State to vie for a $12,000 payday. Brenden Smith ran seventh in his heat race and sixth in his B-Main, which forced him to rely on an emergency provisional to gain access into the 50-lap feature. At the completion of the contest, Brenden was paid for a twenty-fifth place showing.
