Eleventh in Peach State Classic Opener
(November
17, 2024) The Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series season
concluded on November 15-16 in the 'Peach State Classic' at Senoia
Raceway in Senoia, Georgia. On Friday night with a $20,000 paycheck
up for grabs, Brenden Smith ran seventh in his heat race and fourth
in his B-Main prior to blasting past fifteen competitors during
the 40-lap feature en route to a solid eleventh place showing. With
a $30,000 top prize up for grabs on Saturday evening, Brenden just
missed out on the 75-lap finale after placing seventh in his heat
race and fourth in his B-Main.
After the final
points were tallied, the Dade City, Florida ace found himself fifteenth

Oil Tour Wraps Up with $100k DTWC
(October
20, 2024) The 2024 version of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt
Series campaign came to a close over the October 18-19 weekend in
the 44th edition of the ‘Dirt Track World Championship’
at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. With 61 Super Late
Model entrants on hand for the crown jewel spectacular, Brenden
Smith stopped the clock twenty-second fastest in Group B during
Friday's time trial session prior to placing sixth in his heat race.
Following a seventh
place effort in his B-Main on Saturday evening, Brenden utilized
an emergency provisional start the $100,000 to win headliner from
the inside of the fourteenth row. The Dade City, Florida ace then
picked off eleven competitors during the 100-lap contest to land
in the sixteenth spot and also finished sixteenth in the final series

13, 2024) On October 11-12, the Brenden Smith Motorsports team
was in attendance at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown,
Indiana for a pair of high-profile Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
showdowns. On Friday night in the $10,000 to win 'CJ Rayburn Memorial,'
Brenden Smith ran ninth in his heat race, eighth in his B-Main,
and twenty-fifth in the 40-lap main event. With a hefty $50,000
paycheck up for grabs in Saturday's 45th Annual 'Jackson 100,' Brenden
placed eighth in his heat race, sixth in his B-Main, and twenty-sixth

Pays Visit to Sprawling PPMS for Pittsburgher
(October
6, 2024) The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series took the #17ss
team to the sprawling Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in
Imperial, Pennsylvania on October 4-5 for the 36th edition of the
‘Pittsburgher 100.’ With a $10,000 payday up for grabs
in Friday’s weekend opener, Brenden Smith finished eighth
in his loaded heat race, ninth in his B-Main, and twentieth in the
30-lap feature after receiving a series provisional. On Saturday
evening with a whopping $50,000 top prize on the line, Brenden placed
ninth in both his heat race and his B-Main, utilized a series provisional,
and eventually wound up twenty-fourth in the final finishing order

(September
26, 2024) Following Knoxville, the #17ss team dropped into
the historic Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on Wednesday
night, September 25. The Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series
presided over a $20,000 to win shootout at the 1/4-mile, semi-banked
fairgrounds venue. Brenden Smith went eleventh fastest in Group
B during the qualifying session prior to placing seventh in his
heat race and fourth in his B-Main. In the 50-lap midweek special,
Brenden blasted past thirteen competitors to land in the eleventh

Back on Lucas Oil Trail at Knoxville Raceway
(September
22, 2024) Brenden Smith Motorsports was in attendance at the
sprawling Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa from September 19-21
for the 20th Annual 'Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals.'
On Thursday night in the first of two $7,000 to win preliminary
programs, Brenden Smith unfortunately could not advance into the
25-lap feature after placing ninth in both his heat race and his
B-Main. In a similar show on Friday evening, Brenden ran fourth
in his heat race during preliminary action prior to placing twenty-second
in the final rundown of the 25-lapper.
With a whopping
$50,000 paycheck up for grabs on Saturday in the 'Lucas Oil Late
Model Knoxville Nationals' grand finale, Brenden unfortunately suffered
a flat tire in his B-Main and hit the wall hard in his XR1.2 Rocket
Chassis. With no back-up car available, the Dade City, Florida ace
took a single lap in the back-up car of fellow provisional starter
Cory Lawler and was officially scored in the thirty-second position

Tripleheader Weekend for Brenden Smith
(September
15, 2024) Next up for the #17ss team was a Lucas Oil MLRA Series
triple shot in the Hawkeye State from September 12-14. On Thursday
night in the $5,000 to win weekend lid lifter at Cedar County Raceway
in Tipton, Iowa, Brenden Smith placed third in his heat race prior
to finishing twelfth in the in the 'Hawkeye Land 40.'
The tripleheader
then wrapped up with a pair of events on the 1/4-mile oval at Davenport
Speedway in Davenport, Iowa. In Friday's show, which boasted another
$5,000 payday, Brenden ran third in his heat race once again before
nabbing a solid eleventh place performance in the 'Corn State Nationals'
opener. With a $10,000 top prize up for grabs on Saturday evening,
Brenden placed fourth in his heat race and thirteenth in the 40-lapper.

Smith Tackles "Big E" for World 100
(September
8, 2024) From September 4-7, Brenden Smith Motorsports was
in the pit area at the hallowed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
The busy week at the 1/2-mile, high-banked oval started on Wednesday
night with a $20,000 payday on the line in a Castrol FloRacing Night
in America Series shootout. Brenden Smith advanced to fifth in his
heat race, but troubles in his B-Main dropped the Dade City, Florida
ace to seventeenth.
The 54th edition
of the ‘World 100’ then took center stage at the “Big
E” - starting with a pair of $12,000 to win, split-field preliminary
programs. On Thursday evening, Brenden laid down the thirtieth fastest
lap in Group B during qualifying before running twelfth in his Shootout
race. In a similar show on Friday, Brenden stopped the clock twenty-sixth
quickest in Group A during time trials prior to placing ninth in
his Shootout race.
With a whopping
$57,000 paycheck up for grabs in Saturday’s annual ‘World
100,’ Brenden finished eleventh in his heat race and nineteenth
in his B-Main. Unfortunately, he was unable to transfer into the

Visit to Eldora for Baltes Classic
(September
2, 2024) With both Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series shows at
Portsmouth (OH) Raceway Park and Tyler County (WV) Speedway succumbing
to inclement weather over the Labor Day holiday weekend, the #17ss
team wound up at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on
Sunday, September 1. The annual running of the 'Baltes Classic'
was sanctioned by the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series
and shelled out a $5,000 first place prize. Brenden Smith unfortunately
narrowly missed out on the 30-lap headliner after running fourth
in his loaded heat race and third in his B-Main. Each finish was
one mere spot out of a coveted transfer position into the 'Baltes
Classic,' which was won by Garrett Alberson. Full results from last

Trip
to Keystone State Next for #17ss Team
(August
25, 2024) Following a twentieth place showing in a $20,000
to win Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series show on Wednesday
at Lernerville (PA) Speedway, Brenden Smith Motorsports invaded
the sprawling Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on
August 23-24 for a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events
that made up the annual 'Rumble by the River.' On Friday night in
the $10,000 to win opener, Brenden Smith ran fifth in his heat race,
eleventh in his B-Main, and eighteenth in the 40-lap main event.

Goes Topless at Batesville Motor Speedway
(August
18, 2024) The 32nd edition of the ‘Topless 100’
was next on the racing calendar for Brenden Smith, as the #17ss
team invaded Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas
on August 16-17. In Friday’s preliminary event, which carried
a $5,000 winner’s check, Brenden unfortunately missed out
on the 30-lap feature after placing fifth in his heat race and seventh
in his B-Main. After finishing tenth in his B-Main and receiving
a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series emergency provisional, Brenden
was able to improve nine positions during the course of the $50,000
to win crown jewel headliner to earn a seventeenth place effort.

(August
11, 2024) Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series action heated back
up from August 8-10 with the 42nd Annual 'North/South 100' at Florence
Speedway in Union, Kentucky. The three-day crown jewel spectacular
kicked off with a pair of split-field, $6,000 to win preliminary
programs. On Thursday night, Brenden Smith grabbed the fifth transfer
spot through his heat race prior to finishing eighteenth in his
25-lap main event. With another $6,000 payday on the line on Friday,
Brenden unfortunately missed out on his 25-lapper after running
sixth in both his heat race and his B-Main.
The
stakes were raised on Saturday evening in the 'North/South 100'
grand finale, as a whopping $75,000 first place prize was up for
grabs in front of a standing-room-only crowd. Brenden placed seventh
in his loaded heat race and ninth in his B-Main, which forced him
to utilize a series emergency provisional to gain access into the

Tackles Busy Week at Davenport & FALS
(July
28, 2024) Following an eighteenth place effort with the XR
Super Series on Monday night on the 1/4-mile oval at Davenport Speedway
in Davenport, Iowa, Brenden Smith and the #17ss team headed to Fairbury
Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois. The busy stretch of racing in the
Land of Lincoln started on Wednesday with a $20,000 to win Castrol
FloRacing Night in America Series program. Brenden ran ninth in
his loaded heat race and eleventh in his B-Main, which unfortunately
kept the Dade City, Florida youngster out of the 50-lap main event.
The
World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series then roared
into #FALS over the July 26-27 weekend to preside over the 34th
Annual 'Prairie Dirt Classic.' On Friday evening, Brenden stopped
the clock thirteenth fastest in Group B during qualifying before
slipping to eleventh in his $5,000 to win 'Prairie Dirt Showdown'
feature. With a $50,000 top prize up for grabs in Saturday's grand
finale, Brenden unfortunately missed out on the 100-lap PDC after
placing seventh in his B-Main and thirteenth in the 'Prairie Dirt

Smith Claims Top Ten in Huset's Prelim!
(July
21, 2024) The Brenden Smith Motorsports team followed the Lucas
Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Huset's Speedway in Brandon, South
Dakota from July 18-20 for the annual running of the 'Silver Dollar
Nationals.' In the first of two prelim nights on Thursday, Brenden
Smith ran fourth in his heat race and nineteenth in the $10,000
to win feature event. With another $10,000 payday on the line on
Friday night, Brenden finished third in his heat race prior to knocking
down an impressive ninth place performance in the 40-lapper.
On
Saturday evening at Huset's Speedway, a whopping $53,000 first place
prize was up for grabs in the 'Silver Dollar Nationals' grand finale.
By virtue of racking up the fourteenth most points during preliminary
action, Brenden was locked into the outside of the seventh row for
the start of the 80-lap headliner. The Dade City, Florida youngster
ultimately finished right where he started in the Silver Dollar

Follows Lucas Oil Tour to Iowa and Nebraska
(July
17, 2024) A busy five-race stretch from July 11-16 for Lucas
Oil Late Model Dirt Series competitors was unfortunately cut short
by inclement weather, as Mother Nature won out at both Tri-City
(IL) Speedway and Lucas Oil (MO) Speedway. The action kicked off
on Thursday night with the annual 'Slocum 50' at 34 Raceway in West
Burlington, Iowa. Brenden Smith finished sixth in his heat race,
fourth in the B-Main, and seventeenth in the $15,555 to win feature,
which ran caution free for all fifty circuits.
The
national tour then made inaugural visits to both Eagle Raceway in
Eagle, Nebraska and Shelby County Speedway in Harlan, Iowa. With
a $10,000 payday on the line on Monday evening at Eagle, Brenden
utilized a series provisional to gain access into the 40-lapper
before climbing five spots on his way to salvaging a nineteenth
place showing. At Harlan on Tuesday in the $10,053 to win 'Kosiski
Family 53,' Brenden ran fifth in his heat race, fourth in the B-Main,

Smith Busy in Ohio, Indiana, & Illinois
(July
9, 2024) Brenden Smith, of Dade City, Florida, was back on
the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series trail on Saturday night, July
6 at Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio. Brenden finished
fifth in his loaded heat race and second in his B-Main. With a whopping
$20,000 first place prize on the line in the 'Freedom 60' grand
finale, Brenden wound up nineteenth in the final rundown of the
60-lap feature. The #17ss team then made the overnight trip to Tri-State
Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana for Sunday's $5,000 to win DIRTcar
Summer Nationals show, but unfortunately missed out on the 30-lapper
after running fifth in his heat race and twelfth in his B-Main.
The extended
holiday weekend was then capped off on Monday evening, July 8 at
Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois. The Castrol FloRacing Night
in America Series presided over the $20,000 to win showdown. Brenden
placed seventh in his heat race before advancing up to finish sixteenth
